Substitute Teacher

Substitute teach in one of the best schools in the country. The Greater Dayton School is Ohio’s first non religious private PreK-8th grade school exclusively for students from under-resourced backgrounds.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Review and follow teacher lesson plans.
• Maintain an orderly classroom environment.
• Use effective classroom management strategies.
• Build rapport with students and staff and communicate with them effectively.
• Learn from some of the best teachers in the country.
• Leave a daily report for when the teacher returns.

Compensation:  

• $175 per day (8:30-4:30)
• Benefits – Coffee/tea, free lunches daily, unlimited color/black white copies, use of on-site state-of-the-art fitness center.  
• 60 minutes of prep time.
